Photowalk 12 Feb 2018
Part of my weekly routine is to go far a walk with my camera.
It gets me away from my computer screen, helps to keep me fit and is becoming a personal photographic project of mine. Its almost a diary. I seem to be following a regular(ish) route now which takes me via the cemetery where my Grandson is buried. I like to have a chat to keep him up to date with the family news, how his little sister is coming on, that sort of thing and then continue down towards the sea front via one of my favourite gardens.
Little sister and family is doing fine btw
Today was, however, all about the non photo part of the business: setting up consultations, clearing space off the hard drive (3,500 images deleted!) doing accounts, invoicing and SEO, I can safely say I did not have time to spare.
Then the sun came out and I could not resist its lure (I did try). I told myself I wanted to see how many flowers were out in Feb...quite a few as it turns out...and was doing well until I get to the school and down comes the hail! Its not all bad though. The light changes and colours seem more intense...photos are still there for the taking....and its cold so I walk a lot faster :0)

The last shot is a poster for the Open 4 Biz exhibition and conference. I will be offering headshot photography at a brilliant discount again this year. Its a great event and worth turning up for if you are in Ilfracombe Friday 2nd March. So this walk was all about work really.
Glad to be home in the warm and dry with the kettle on.

For people with an interest all pictures were taken hand held with a Canon 5D111 camera, Canon 50mm 1.4 lens and when needed Canon Extension tubes EF-12II and EF-25II (they let me get closer, but sooo much cheaper than a macro lens).
