Photowalk 2 March 2018
This was a walk with a difference. Namely snow. It must be 10 years since I last saw snow in Ilfracombe and great to see it back. There was perhaps not a great deal of snow, and what was there was very wind blown, it still felt very special to be out in it.
I love the sound of crunching snow as you walk on it, the sudden slashes of colour that catch your eye...and the shapes, the wonderful shapes.
Quite a lot of people about (and they smile). There were a few walking to Tescos and back with their shopping. Very few cars about (wisely) and its amazing how quickly you forget about them...they have to bip you reminding you they are there...very civilised.
And of course it was cold and slippy, but I did not fall down, well only a little bit.
